Sachin Tendulkar has underlined his legendary status in the game by becoming the first batsmen to score 100 international hundreds.
India's "Litle Master" scored his first century against England at Old Trafford in 1990, aged just 17.


His century against Bangladesh in the Asia Cup took the 38-year-old to 51 Test centuries alongside his 49 one-day international tons.
Here, former team-mates and opponents take stock of Tendulkar's unique achievement.
On whether Sir Donald Bradman or Sachin Tendulkar is the greatest batsman of all-time, former England captain Nasser Hussain gave his vote goes to the iconic Indian.
"Sir Donald Bradman was great, but, for me, the greatest batsman to have ever played the game is Sachin Tendulkar," he said.


Hussain rubbished the recent wave of criticism of the Indian cricket team following their humiliating defeat in England and Australia, saying the sub-continental giants are still a force to reckon with.
"You have Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Harbhajan Singh. And you -- till recently -- had (Rahul) Dravid," Hussain said, at the India Today Conclave, in Delhi, on Friday.



How Sachin Tendulkar became the Little Master
Despite standing at only 5ft 5ins, Sachin Tendulkar is a cricketing giant.
On 16 March 2012 he confirmed his place in sporting history by becoming the first player to score 100 international centuries, reaching the milestone in the Asia Cup match against Bangladesh.
So how did Tendulkar become the "Little Master" - a title previously bestowed on legendary opening batsman Sunil Gavaskar?
At 38, he has enjoyed more than 20 years at the top of the game, and his sparkling talent was evident at an early age.



The magical moment finally arrived, though the wait lasted more than a year. The moment for which 1.2 billion Indians had been waiting for. The 100th run in his century of centuries - by Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar came against the Bangladesh after scoring his 99th on March 12th, 2011 against South Africa in the 2011 World Cup.
